Today I have been completely out of whack.
I woke up early to cook the hubster and I wheat pancakes with bananas and fresh OJ before he left for work. Within the hour my heart started racing and every time I stood up I would get dizzy and nauseous. I figured this was due to the large amount of natural sugar in my breakfast, so I quickly chugged four glasses of water. This continued all morning- as I was trying to hurry out the door to get Krysta to school on time. I was nervous- nervous enough to show Krysta how to use my cell phone to call 911 and instruct her on what to say to the dispatcher (which she knows, but a mind refresher was needed).
About mid-day my body started to crash. I could barely keep my eyes open and I had “the shakes”. I ate two (yes two!) peanut-butter sandwiches for a quick dose of protein and bread to help soak up whatever was making me feel sick. I then slept the rest of the afternoon.
I feel much better now and my bean is extremely active- which puts my mind at ease. Tomorrow is my 39 week prenatal check-up, so I’ll see what the doc has to say.
