Back at it again!

Yesterday we had another prenatal appointment. During that time we found out that I’m 50% effaced and 1cm dilated! We’re getting closer!

Since I’m full-term, I also had the option of having my membranes stripped. When I told the nurse, “yes, I’d like it done” she looked at me and said, “okay, you asked for it.” What?!?! What was that about? What did she mean by, “you asked for it.”

Now I know! Geez Louise that was painful! I asked Ron if he could see the reaction on my face. He said “no, but I could feel your pain from across the room.”

Unfortunately, we didn’t strip ALL of the membranes, but we’ll give it another go next week.
